Clara Bradford (Class of 2011) is someone who loves to help out others in the community or globally. She tends to be more comfortable in environments where those around her are genuine, and care about what they are doing as much as she does. Though she is very opinionated, she likes to keep her mind open to surrounding ideas. Clara believes the outcome of pushing herself to make positive changes in the world is worth any stressful effort. Doing well in school is something that she strives for because she can’t wait to go off into the world and spread her ideas through the freedom of expression.
Lindsey Slaughter (Class of 2011) is a junior at ZCHS. She participates in clubs such as Key Club, EKOM, and Girls Lacrosse. On the normal school day, (when she does not feel like being productive) Lindsey enjoys taking naps and watching CSI re-runs. Weekends are Lindsey’s favorite time of the week. Lindsey can often be spotted riding her bike or canoodling with fellow ZCHS students. In a nutshell Lindsey is a Starbucks addict who enjoys engaging in good clean fun, meeting interesting people, and trying new things.
Ashley Dye (Class of 2010) has lived in Zionsville for the majority of her life and thus feels committed to helping the town progress. She has been the leader of the Gay-Straight Alliance for two years and participates in many other clubs such as Project Green and Young Democrats. In her spare time, she enjoys sleeping, writing, photographing, listening to music and reading as well as working as opinion editor on the Harbinger.
Ameerah Siddiqi (Class of 2011) moved to Zionsville in the summer of 2004 and has enjoyed living there ever since. Upon entering ZCHS, Ameerah decided to get more involved in her school. She joined the Harbinger staff, for which she now serves as Student Life Editor, as well as French Club, for which she is the secretary. Ameerah is also a freshman mentor and a member of Key Club and National Honor Society. She would have to say that her four favorite things are reading, writing, traveling, and animals. Ameerah is also currently getting interested in photography and would love to learn how to play the guitar. Basically Ameerah loves life and she is very excited about being a part of the ZSRU Staff
Margaret Hicks (Class of 2011) has a very hardworking and determined personality. She has been on student council in the past and is looking forward to being part of a new outlet towards helping out the student body. She can be pretty persuasive if I might add. Kimia is a diligent member of the Wind Ensemble and plays the flute and the piano, as music is her forte. She is also on the Zionsville girl's cross country team. Kimia likes to laugh often, is happy to reach a helping hand towards others, and is always up for a challenge.
With an older brother in the class of 2010 and a younger sister in the class of 2019, Katie Faulkner (class of 2011) feels compelled to do what she can to help Zionsville for the long run. As a second grader, her teacher described her as “…very fair. If something isn’t fair, Katie can be counted on to change it.” This hasn’t changed. She is a member of Spanish Club and Operation Honduras and does her best to remain active in her community and church. She believes in giving back, and takes hold of what mission trips or service she can participate in. At some point she hopes to study abroad, and after graduating from college, she plans on doing mission work in South America. When she isn’t busy with complaining about her workload, Katie can be found drooling over the sushi at her job, Tegry Bistro, listening to the same song until she gets sick of it, over thinking society, zoning out, and wearing comfortable clothes that sceam "premature senioritis". She enjoys drawing and painting, going to the gym, and trying to be funny (unsuccessfully).
Shane Tang (Class of 2011) has lived in Zionsville since 2001. He joined ZSRU to help out with the noble cause that this organization is doing. In addition to music Nick enjoys running and has participated in track and cross country since his freshman year. After his year studying abroad, Nick will return to ZCHS for his senior year of high school. In his spare time Nick can often be found cycling, playing and/or listening to music, and suffering from mild bouts of pyromania.
